Wire-cut machine tools will bring things for molybdenum wire proofreading when they are purchased, including sub-bell, cylindrical, right-angled, tetragonal and hexahedron, and special instrument for the appearance of conductive touch meters. Satisfactory results can be achieved with sufficient accuracy and proper use. No matter which kind of proofreading seems simple, but it is more difficult to make, the proofreading things you get must be checked by yourself. It is feasible to use benchmark comparison, light transmission inspection and practical displacement measurement. The most convenient way of self-measurement is tetragonal hexahedron, which can be measured by X and Y coordinates on the bed surface of the machine tool, and the error value is clear at a glance.
In the process of calibrating molybdenum wires by WEDM machine tools, most of them rely on the method of discharging sparks, besides the special instruments displayed by electric meters, which is also the most intuitive and credible method. However, it should be noted that the upper surface of the object should be measured by a meter first. It is indeed parallel to the X and Y planes before it is used. It is not possible to place the meter on the mattress or wire cutting bed, which is often not reliable enough. Spark proofreading is carried out under the condition of anhydrous low current. Generally, only one way of power amplifier is needed. Otherwise, the proofreading will be damaged quickly. This spark calibration is more accurate than the sparkless conductive touch. If the sparks are uniform on the observation surface not less than 50 mm, the accuracy is usually less than 0.01. After skilled and several times of experience, the results of the calibration will be credible and reliable, reaching the straightness range suitable for the overall accuracy of the WEDM machine tool, which is assured. |
